Who is Tascora and what do we stand for?
Who is actually behind Tascora?
We are two founders, Markus and Michael.
Our story begins in India. During a trip through this fascinating country, we found a wonderfully colorful bag in a small shop. During a pleasant conversation with the owner, we learned how the cotton fabric for the bags is hand-printed, how the colors are created using purely natural dyes, and then how the bags are sewn by hand. We were amazed by the almost endless variety of colors and patterns. We ended up leaving the shop with four bags. Of course, our girlfriends wanted some too.
Back home, people kept asking us where we got these colorful bags. Friends, family and strangers on the street wanted a bag just like it. That's when we decided to found Tascora.
We started looking for a suitable manufacturer and found a fantastic family run business in northern India. They print the fabrics for us and handle the entire production of the bags according to our specifications.
